Indonesia Investor KITAS E28 is a multiple entry stay permit. You can leave Indonesia and comeback unlimited amount of times.
HOW LONG I CAN STAY IN INDONESIA WITH INVESTOR KITAS?
Investor KITAS E28 is valid for 2 years and can be extended.
After extension, you can apply to convert into KITAP (5 years stay permit).
After maximum 5 years of using KITAS, you may be asked to convert to KITAP.
CAN I APPLY FOR INVESTOR KITAS e28 IF I CAME ON "VISA ON ARRIVAL" ?
You can apply for Investor KITAS:
- Offshore, before come to Indonesia, and arrive on Visa E28 as a part of KITAS process
- Onshore, when you are in Indonesia on visa 211A
WHAT I CAN DO WITH KITAS E28?
Staying on Investor KITAS temporary stay permit, you can:
1. Apply for change (mutasi) to permanent stay permit (kitap)
2. Engaging in activities related to business, investment, and company establishment,
3. Performing activities as a member of the board of directors or board of commissioners in a company where a foreigner has invested capital,
4. Supervising the production process of goods or services in the established company, including but not limited to offices, factories, or similar places,
5. Pursuing education as long as the multiple Stay Permit has been completed,
6. Bringing family members to live in Indonesia as long as it complies with immigration laws and regulations,
7. Entering and leaving the territory of Indonesia as long as the Re-entry Permit is still valid,
8. Engaging in activities related to tourism, and visiting family or friends.
You can’t work using this visa. Regardless of whether it is paid work, internship or volunteering.

A foreigner who is a shareholder in a PT company can apply for Investor KITAS temporary stay permit.
